Today we are highlighting our Base Salve and how you can use it to create your own DIY Salve(s) Do you have a personal blend of oils that you use for cuts and scrapes, sunburn, calming, sleep, allergies, cracked heels? This is your lucky day!

With our Base Salve all you need to do is place it in a small sauce pan with water surrounding it. Place it on low heat until it softens up. Once it is liquid, you can either create a salve using the entire jar or you can pour it into smaller containers to create several personal salves.

You can create personal salve jars for your purse, kids backpacks, or your home & office. One of our favorites to keep on hand is a Warming Rub – here’s a quick recipe for you to try!

DIY Warming Rub For Sore Muscles
Ingredients:
-Spark Naturals Base Salve
Peppermint Essential Oil
Eucalyptus Essential Oil
Clove Essential Oil

If you are making the entire 40ml jar, use 15 drops of each oil.
After a long day or a hard workout, soothe sore muscles with this all-natural rub that gently warms and releases muscle tension. The sore-muscle salve also makes a nice massage lotion. And it smells a whole lot better than the kind you can buy at the store. This sore-muscle salve offers a gentle tingle and is made for topical use only. Avoid using on the face and wash hands after application to avoid interaction with eyes, nose, and mouth. Enjoy!
