The important difference between HEMP and MARIJUANA

Hemp and Marijuana fall under the same Hemp plant family. The Latin term for Hemp is Cannabaceae, or Cannabis for short. However Hemp and Marijuana are two, very different variations of cannabis, just as lemons and oranges are two, very different variations of fruits.

Marijuana is the psychoactive variety of cannabis that gets people “high” because it contains THC. CBD oil is Non-Psychoactive (It CANNOT get you high) and Packed with beneficial proteins, amino acids, and omega-3s. CBD oil has a high cannabinoid profile. Cannabinoids have the potential ability to stimulate the human system in place of the naturally produced compounds.

Our bodies contain hundreds of cannabinoids and cannabinoid receptors called the endocannabinoid system. The cannabinoids system and their receptors are found in our brain, organs, glands and throughout our entire bodies. And this system plays a major role in biological processes such as sleep, memory, mood and even pain sensation.  It is thought that CBD might affect your health by attaching to receptors in your body’s endocannabinoid system – a complex biological system involved in maintaining certain aspects of your health.

Even though research continues, CBD Oil has shown to make connections to our body through the endocannabinoid system that no other compound can.
