This month’s Oil of the Month Club oil is Marjoram! It is often used with oils like Lavender and Frankincense and has a wonderful calming effect. We’ve rounded up a few recipes for you to try!
- Growing Pains: If you’re a parent or guardian, you know the “joys” of dealing with your child’s growing pains! When they are feeling especially uncomfortable, try a massage or a warm bath.
- 1 Tbsp Carrier Oil (I personally like FCO or Sweet Almond)
- 3 drops Roman Chamomile
- 2 drops Marjoram
*Gently massage onto affected area applying only slight pressure (usually around bedtime).
- 1 tsp Carrier Oil
- 3 drops Lavender
- 1 drop Marjoram
*Stir oils into warm bath water and soak for at least 15 minutes (usually around bedtime).
2. The Icky Cough: The last thing you want is to have a cough while everyone is out playing in the sun! Try this awesome Cough Buster recipe using our versatile Base Salve.
Cough Buster Salve:
- SN Base Salve (40ml)
- 8 drops Basil
- 8 drops Frankincense
- 8 drops Lime
- 8 drops Marjoram
- 3 drops Peppermint
- 1 drop Eucalyptus
- 1 drop Rosemary
- 1 drop Lemon
*Mix and let cool. Rub on chest as needed.
3. High Blood Pressure: If you struggle with high blood pressure, this holistic remedy may help get it under control with consistent use.
High Blood Pressure Relief Roller:
- (In a 10 ml Roller Bottle)
- 12 drops Helichrysum
- 12 drops Ylang Ylang
- 8 drops Cassia
- 8 drops Frankincense
- 8 drops Marjoram
- Top off with Carrier Oil
*Apply to the bottom of your feet, wrists, over the heart and back of the neck as needed, at least 2x daily.
