Peaches are in season and that means cobblers, pies, smoothies, jam…and syrup! If you’re like me, fast and easy is your kitchen game, and this 3-ingredient syrup is right up your alley. Whip it up for morning pancakes or a delicious ice cream topping.
What you’ll need:
Directions:
Peel, pit, and dice fresh peach, and place in a small sauce pan on low heat.
Lightly cover peaches with sugar (may be more or less than 1/8 cup). Stir on medium-low heat until “syrupy”.
Before taking off of the heat, add one drop essential oil. For less chunks, mash or use a blender.
Pour over pancakes, waffles, cheesecake, or ice cream, and enjoy! YUM!
There you have it! Quick, easy, and utterly delicious! Admit it-you’re heading to the Farmer’s Market right now for some delicious fresh peaches to try your new Cassia or Cinnamon essential oil. Don’t worry…you won’t be alone. 😉
*Note: Cassia has a slightly stronger aroma and flavor than Cinnamon. If 1 drop is too much, try a toothpick swirl instead.
