Wild for Wild Orange

Have you ever been to Phoenix, AZ in the springtime? During that very brief moment, before the sun explodes during a time that they call summer, the weather is crisp and perfect. You drive around with the windows down and are able to actually enjoy the breeze because it isn’t melting your face off! As you drive through the city, in the spring, with the windows down, there is a very distinct aroma that will fill your car. No, it’s not exhaust or pollution. It is the smell of the orange blossoms from the orange trees. It is the most amazing smell! It is so invigorating and calming all at the same time. Sometimes, I would find myself getting a little light headed because I was taking so many deep breaths, I just couldn’t get enough.

wild-orangeWild Orange can be used for so many things!! Not only will I frequently just put some on as perfume, but I also use it to help sleep. When you combine Wild Orange and Lavender or Wild Orange and Bliss Calming, you have an easy, yummy sleep aide. It is also wonderful to aid concentration, relieve anxiety, reduce fear and enhance positive mood.

Wild Orange is a great addition to your morning routine to get the day started! If you have kids, it can promote learning and focus at school. If your kids aren’t in school yet, there are incredible benefits for them as well.

  1. A fantastic diffuser combination is 4 drops of Wild Orange and 2 drops of cedarwood. I use this combination while working to both de-stress and stay motivated. That makes for a hard-working combination.
