It’s a new month! What better time to release our new-and-improved Spark Naturals Relief Headache Blend?  While we loved our original blend, as did many of our customers, there were a few concerns we took into consideration leading to the change.

Major Changes: Frankincense, Wintergreen, and Birch oils were removed from the blend, and it is no longer diluted in Fractionated Coconut Oil (FCO).

Main Reasons Why: Birch and Wintergreen are very powerful oils that share similar properties to Aspirin, which some people cannot medically take for various reasons and/or they are allergic. These oils cannot be used by pregnant women or by those who suffer from seizures. In order to make Relief Blend available to more people in need of…well…relief, we felt some changes needed to be made. If you personally use and love Wintergreen and/or Birch, adding a drop or two in combination with the new blend right before use should work great.

What’s New: Going back to square one, we kept Peppermint and Lavender, which are often recommended even by medical professionals, and added Eucalyptus, Melaleuca, Rosemary, Roman Chamomile, Helichrysum and Vetiver. These oils are also very powerful, especially combined, but also more user friendly. The reformulated blend is undiluted, so it can be diffused or diluted to your specific needs, which makes this blend more versatile.

The new blend has been formulated to hit many more symptoms AND causes. It helps to calm hormones, stimulate blood flow, and calm inflammation.

Suggested Usage: Relief can be used two ways: aromatically (diffused) and topically. It is NOT recommended for internal use. Apply Relief NEAT on reflex points, temples, and around the nape of the neck and hairline, dilute for young and sensitive skin.

Because headaches, tension, and stress can occur anytime/anywhere, small vials, droppers, and rollers are great to have ready to use in a pinch. Check out our selection available at the Spark Naturals Store (online and physical).
