Why We Love Lavender Essential Oil

The benefits of lavender are truly endless – it is the number one most used Essential Oil in the world, and for good reason!

SN_EO15_Lavender.jpgLavender has been used for centuries to help aid sleep, promote concentration, calm, and heal. It is a very gentle oil, which makes it family friendly and essential to have on hand at all times; it does not need to be diluted prior to application, and it smells absolutely wonderful.

When combined with lemon and peppermint, lavender can help build defense against – and calm – seasonal allergies. Joining teams with wild orange, the duo can knock out sleeplessness.

In the event of a burn (sun or hot instrument caused), lavender’s amazing properties will help heal and relieve pain.

The characteristic that these all have in common is a calming trait. Lavender is used in lotions, sprays, candles, and so much more because of its undeniable versatility and calming ability.

Here are two simple – but incredibly useful –  recipes you can use anytime! Lavender is always great to have on hand around the home or on the go!
