Oh you know exactly what I’m talking about!!! IT IS GOING AROUND!!!! I have heard story after story after story from friends and family (and strangers for that matter) about how sick they are right now!!! Seriously!!!!!! You better believe that essential oils are debuting in our house like nobody’s business this time of year!! I’m pretty sure that every…..single….. oil has been used this past week! OK, there might be some slight exaggeration there, but we have busted out the oils for everything from paint on the hands to the “Flu Bomb” I’m going to tell you all about later! Did you know that Oregano has incredible anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-oxidant, anti-viral, anti-allergenic, anti-parasitic, AND anti-inflammatory properties??? Yeah, those Italians have something going on there!!!! Eat your heart out spaghetti, as long as it is loaded with Oregano. Bring on that herb (Oregano filled), Parmesan, garlic, cheesy bread!!

Oregano essential oil can be used in your food to enhance the flavor as well as in mixtures to help support the immune system and fight off infection. Add a couple of drops to your spaghetti sauce or that old family lasagna recipe.

A must have, on hand, pre-made, ready to rock combination is the: “Flu Bomb”

Add all the oils to a 15mL roller bottle and fill remainder with carrier oil of your choice. Use as soon as the first tickle makes it’s way to your throat. You can also reduce the combination by a ¼ and add it to your diffuser.

This miracle working combination will combat any yuck that might be trying to sneak up on you! Use multiple times a day for best results. Reduce the ratio of oils and add extra carrier oil if skin is sensitive or when using on kids. Apply additional oil on the skin if it becomes warm from the oils.
