Last weekend Spark Naturals took the oil world to a whole new level!

I love cooking with my essential oils on a regular basis, but they have also come in mighty handy when I have forgotten to pick up an ingredient from the store. A few weeks ago I forgot to grab a lemon for this chicken dish that I was making. I even went to my neighbor’s house to see if she had a lemon or even some lemon juice in a bottle. Apparently I was having a moment of memory loss. It did come back, that is when I went to my bedroom and grabbed my lemon essential oil. I put a few drops in the mixture and it turned out amazing!!!!

But now I have these amazing, essential oil infused spices that I get to use when I cook! I am slightly obsessed with the aroma of them alone! There are seven total and, did I mention, they are AMAZING!!!!! They are called Naterre Spice Blends.

Without further ado, in alphabetical order, I would like to introduce to you:

All Purpose

sn_spice_allpurpose_250x488_1_This blend of Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Oregano, Thyme, Black Pepper, Cayenne Powder, Paprika, and Salt comes infused with Rosemary Essential Oil, Cilantro Essential Oil, and Orange Essential Oil. It smells just like a complete spice cabinet, with all of the yummy scents folded into one perfectly formulated bottle.

Baker’s Delight

sn_spice_bakersdelight_250x488.jpgThis one smells like Christmas in a jar! It contains Cinnamon, Ginger, Cloves, Allspice, Star Anise, Nutmeg, Pepper, and Wild Orange Essential Oil. You are not going to want to miss the recipes I will be using this one in!

Italian

sn_spice_italian_250x488_1_As soon as you open the jar, your senses are taken over. I could sit and breathe this one in all day! It reminds of me off fresh baked bread (you are going to want to come back for that one). The Rosemary Essential oil is so distinct even though it is combined with Thyme Essential Oil, Red Pepper Flakes, Parsley, Oregano, Garlic Powder, Marjoram, and Basil. Oh so good!

Mexican

sn_spice_mexican_250x488_1_I love really good carne asada and guacamole. When the meat is flavored and cooked just right and the guacamole has the most perfect consistency, you can’t beat it. That’s probably why I am so excited about this spice blend. It contains Chili Powder, Cayenne Powder, Cumin Powder, Greek Oregano, Garlic Powder, Red Pepper Flakes, Onion Powder, Black Pepper, and Lime Essential Oil. Muy Bien!!!

No Salt

sn_spice_nosalt_250x488_2_.jpgWant the flavor without the sodium? This little beauty is for you!! Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Oregano, Thyme, Parsley, Ground Pepper, Rosemary Essential Oil, and Dill Essential Oil. Yes please!!!

Omaha Prime

sn_spice_omahaprime_250x488_1_The first time I opened this blend of spices I ran over to my husband and made him smell it! I said (he claims yelled), “Oh My GOODNESS!!!! This is going to be so good when we are grilling!” It has Himalayan Salt, Black Pepper, Paprika, Thyme, Rosemary, Coriander, Garlic, Red Pepper Flakes, and Lemon Essential Oil. My taste buds are having a party and my mouth is salivating as I typed that!

Salt & Pepper

sn_spice_saltpepperlime_255x488This is not your standard salt and pepper and no I’m not going to “Push It Real Good”, although I am going to try to push this spice blend on everyone I encounter.  This right here, is Himalayan Salt, Black Peppercorns, and Lime Essential Oil. It is the perfect must have, to add a little flavor to any meal!

You can buy them individually by clicking on the name or you can buy them as a set here.

This week we will be focusing on different recipes for each of these incredible spice blends, so make sure that you check back!
